We always hear stories about full-time bloggers who quit their jobs because they make money from their blogs. While it usually takes years and a lot of hard work to get to this point, you can start making a little money each month by monetizing your blog right now. There are several easy ways you can do so without investing the kind of work it takes to make a full-time income. Here are a few options to consider.
Add advertisements to posts.
A very popular way of monetizing your blog is by adding advertisements to posts. Through programs such as Google Adsense, you can put ads on your blog without having to reach out to advertisers, prove your traffic statistics, and handle payment from different advertisers. Instead, you simply copy and paste code into certain spots on your blog such as the sidebar or the top of the posts, or insert the code into a box in a WordPress theme that keeps ads synchronized across all posts so you can quickly and easily change them. Ads relevant to your blog’s content will automatically display the locations you choose. When people click on these ads, a small amount (anything from a few cents to a few dollars depending on their topic and how much the advertiser is paying per click) is credited to your account.
Accept review posts.
If you have a good following in your niche, you may be able to make money by accepting review posts. This means that advertisers send you a product or allow you to sample a service in exchange for a review of it and pay you a few dollars. Always make sure your reviews are thorough and honest. Do you have a high-speed connection such as clearwirelessinternet4G.com/ provides? You should be able to upload a cell phone video or even a high-quality video review, too. If you don’t think a product is any good, you could decline to publish the post, provide private feedback before you make the post public as a warning of what you’re about to say, or simply take a hardline stance and post the negative review (which might scare off advertisers unless you already have a reputation for being brutally honest).
Promote products or services.
Whether you want to be an affiliate or sell your own products or services, a great way to make money from your blog is by promoting things. Always ensure you are only supporting high-quality items that your readers could genuinely benefit from. You can promote others’ products and earn a small commission for each one you sell or develop your own products to tie into your blog niche and sell them, attracting affiliates to do the selling for you.
Making money from your blog can take time and patience, but you don’t need to quit your job right away. Start slowly by monetizing it through one of these methods and you’ll find that a little money at a time starts rolling in!
